The lessons help to reduce fear and anxiety by providing children with skills, knowledge and confidence they need to react safely and make safe choices in potentially unsafe situations.
What do kids learn?
This is one of Kidproof’s most popular and core fundamental safety programs that is vital in all child safety education. Children learn skills to help them understand:
- Tricks predators will use to gain their trust
- How to recognize and protect their personal safety zone
- How to listen to their personal alarm
- To focus on safe situations rather than places

What age group is this for?
This program is best for students in Grades 3 – 5 but is suitable for younger.
How long is the course?
Stranger Smarts is a two-hour program that can easily be divided into shorter segments throughout the year.

- Must be a registered Delivery Partner (join here)
- Valid for multiple teachers/one location or one teacher/multiple locations.
- NOT valid for multiple locations/multiple teachers
- Valid for one (1) year (renewable)
- Reproducible Student Worksheets (except the Babysitters Handbook)
You will require additional licenses if you wish to host the class at more than one location with multiple teachers.
Extended License (on approval):
- NOT permitted to charge a fee for attendance. The class MUST be offered for free.
- Must be a registered Delivery Partner (join here)
- You can have one or multiple teachers.
- Valid for one (1) year (renewable)
- Reproducible Student Worksheets (except the Babysitters Handbook)
- Only valid for one (1) location.
